Never More Beautiful, written by helens78 is an XMFC Rule 63 Alternate Universe - Charles is Charlotte, Erik is Erika, and Angel is still Angel (but this time, he wears pants). I feel like it's been ages since the last time I recorded something by helens78 and podficcing this story felt like slipping into a favorite pair of pajama pants - comfy, and cozy, and lovely in all the right places. I love the peek into Erika's head, here - she's still hard and sharp and a little bit brittle, but at the same time, her edges aren't in quite the same places of Erik Lehnsherr's. Plus, a lady in a well-fitting suit is ALWAYS a turn-on (that's supposed to be Erika on the podfic cover).
