AMP14 - Day Thirty-Three

Yesterday was Bandom College AU Day....today is Bandom-Discworld Crossover Day.

Title: Panic! at the Discworld
Author: imperfectcircle
Reader: reena_jenkins
Coverartist: reena_jenkins
Rating: G
Fandoms: Bandom (Panic! at the Disco), Discworld
Pairings: Ryan Ross/Spencer Smith/Brendon Urie/Jon Walker
Warnings: Crossover, Fusionfic, Foursome, set between Soul Music and The Truth (no major spoilers)
Length: 00:47:15

Author's Summary: "Brendon came from a tiny farm in the Ramtop mountains half a cow and two acorns short of being a hovel, and had assumed the city of Ankh-Morpork would be similar in size and variety to the kingdom of Lancre. It might even be smaller, he had supposed, because Lancre -- that huddled collection of villages, mountains and goats -- was a kingdom, whereas Ankh-Morpork was merely a city.

This was much like using height to deduce that a baby made less mess than a hat stand, and tended to have the same effect on one's shoes."

Download link: You can download this podfic as an mp3 right over here (thanks, paraka, for hosting me!) OR you can stream the story by clicking above.

Why It's Awesome: This story is the perfect blend of Ridiculous Bandom AU, and Spot-On Discworld Ridiculousness. Everyone slots right into place, as though they'd been grown on the Disc - and the friendship between Jon and Otto over their shared love of photography is great. I love how imperfectcircle hits the same writing style as the Discworld books - there's even the type of asides that could do well as footnotes! Intro/Outro music for this podfic is That Green Gentleman, as performed by Panic at the Disco, because I've decided it's one of the Songs With Rocks In.

other people's fanfic, podfic, amp 2014, i made coverart!, fandom: discworld, fandom: scruffy bandboys love each other
