AMP14 - Day Thirty (part one)

Today's extra special - I had analise010 all to myself for eight hours straight - so it gets two Amplificathon posts: one for podfic, one for oral notfic.

Podfic #1

new (not surprising), written by treesfall, is exactly the kind of Johnny-is-a-happy-puppy-who-cuddles-you-into-submission gem that anyone in Graceland fandom will love and adore. The whole mood of this story is wonderful, and so perfectly encapsulates exactly what I wish the show would give me. Plus, Mike's denial is particularly adorable - and treesfall's writing style is so descriptive, there were moments I actually felt like shaking him by the shoulders a time or two. Basically, everything is lovely, and only the sand in Mike's shorts hurts.

This podfic has a run-time of 00:46:38, and the Intro/Outro music is Voodoo Child, as performed by Rogue Traders. You can download this podfic as an mp3 right over here (thanks for hosting me, paraka!) OR you can stream the story by clicking above.

Podfic #2

Trading Tales, written by sophinisba, is a Harry Potter-Hobbit crossover fic read by myself, kalakirya, and analise010. It actually makes perfect sense, from a crossover perspective - Hagrid has dealings with dragons, and Bilbo has dealings with dragons... Hagrid knows wizards, and Bilbo know wizards... Hagrid likes a warm meal and a good drink, and Bilbo likes a warm meal and a good drink.... The podfic was an excellent experience to record, and an acceptable outlet for some of our Desolation of Smaug feelings (we recorded it less than 12 hours after seeing the movie).

This podfic has a run-time of 00:04:26, and you can download it as an mp3 right over here (thanks, paraka, for hosting us!) OR you can stream the story by clicking above.

There's even some podfic bloopers you can download (featuring a cameo from my dad):

Happy listening, and stick around for post part 2!
