AMP14 - Day Nine
Since I'm still in a bit of a Paramore mood from yesterday, hows about a podfic with more Hayley Williams in the Intro/Outro music? Thanks in large part to analise010's headcannons rubbing off on me, the first time I heard Stay The Night, as performed by Zedd ft. Hayley Williams, I had ALL the Marie/Logan feelings. And then I remembered that time seperis wrote a Marie/Logan Moving In Together story.... and it all coalesced into glorious podfic realness.
A Little More Than Intimate, written by seperis (who has BP, in case you've forgotten), has more than just the best kinds of curtainfic tropes - it's a story that actually deals with the difficulties of dating someone who takes Intimacy Issues to whole new levels, and also manages to showcase all the ways emotional intimacy develops over time - even when you're not looking for more. Neither Logan nor Marie are your typical romcom leads in this story, but that just makes learning about their relationship all the more enticing. There's more than one way to say I Love You, and this story shows that idea off exquisitely. The porn's none too shabby, either - there's a bit of bruise kink, and some possessive language and behavior, and some clothes kink that I wasn't quite expecting to push my buttons as hard it did, and emotional vulnerability that's even more revealing than physical vulnerability. Seriously - seperis wrote a series of scenes here that just.... well, she wrote a Marie that's badass, and a Logan that's learning to bend, and a couple who are just as good filling each other's empty spaces as they are guarding each other's backs. Love, love, love it.
