My birthday is on Saturday! Since E is heading back up to school on Saturday, the Family is celebrating with cake and presents tomorrow! I'm going to make cupcakes with the Babysitting Charges tomorrow afternoon! analise010 just made me an almost-birthday Twitter podficlet! miss_marina95 and I are going to make an anthology of Bandom-Fluffy Animals-Werewolves podfics, since we're very nearly Birthday Twins! the tiff, written by sospes, is a hilari-awkward moment in the earliest days of Thorin's Company's quest to retake Erebor. Fili and Kili are quarreling, and their mood has spread to everyone else - particularly, to Bilbo, who's champing at the bit to dispel the tense air around the campfire. Though Balin's trying to make things better......he's not exactly helping.
I snickered the whole way through reading this story, the first time. I had to pause GarageBand while recording, to get my giggles under control. I hope I've managed to convey sufficient awkwardness and hilarity in my reading, so that you'll enjoy this story as much as I did.
