Higs first mentioned it on Tuesday, but I didn't believe him.
Everyone else has also been going on about it since then. I didn't believe them either.
I mean, seriously. It's January 18th and there hasn't been any snow yet. Now's when the winter kind of starts slowing down. Or maybe we just get used to it and I don't notice it as much. Either way, Midterms are a crap time for it to START snowing and getting cold.
And yet... There it is!
I was studying for politics and got bored so I was playing with the shadow from my pencil, using it as a sun dial. I looked out the window to find where the sun was to see what time it was and there it was! Nothing big, just flurries, but it's starting to really flurry now!
Guys... I think it's snowing....
Maybe we'll get some snow days after all this year!!
Update: Hahahahaaha! Nothing's on TV so I'm watching the news. They were going on about all the winter weather that the south stole from us and I was uber jealous. And then the commercials came on and they were advertizing those retractable porch awnings that you put down when it's really sunny out so that you can sit outside without getting burnt and can see.
Very appropriate considering this winter. Or lack thereof.
