It's December
So here we are ... December. Wow ... how did that happen?
Today I put up my first Christmas decoration - my christmas penguin. I also hung up my first christmas card - received on 30th November from my cousin in an attempt to beat my nan who always sends out her christmas cards on the 1st of December. And I plugged in my first string of christmas lights - with more to come once I dig them out of the garage. Woo hoo!
I also started my countdown to christmas holidays in earnest. Only 12 more work days and then I'm on three weeks break. Bring it on!
I am really looking forward to Christmas ... not really sure why as I don't have a christmas list and I won't be able to spend time with my family - but still there is something about the festive season. I think it is the eating! :o)
Anyway, so to everyone out there - I hope the festive season is nice to you, Santa is nice to you, and the weather is nice to you.
