computers, and work, and maine...blech
So my computer contacted a virus!!! Man you never know how important a computer is until you loose it. There is an upside to this. I had to reboot everything (I dont even know if thats the right word). So I had to start from new all over. I was able to get a few things to disk before it got really bad so I have my pictures and some of my work stuff. This gives me an excuse to write a new resume, and do some other stuff I have been meaning to do. Its nice to have everything new. My computer is working faster and it just feels nice to be using it again.
Last night at work people were HUGE ASSHOLES!!!!! I had no problems with any of my dishes (except one but it wasnt my fault and the couple didnt care so they tipped me well anyway). Two parties left me with change for tips, and one party (who stayed for an hour and a half may I add)left me nothing! How can you do that to someone. If you dont like the food or atmousphere thats not the waitstaffs fault! People in this world should know by now that a waiters pay is his tips...we get payed 3.00 an hour! so if I had no other tables in that time those assholes were there I would have made 4.50! So rude! To anyone that reads this please please please be considerate of waitstaff if they are being kind with you and the service is slow or the foods not good, its not their fault. Its most likely a problem with the kitchen. Leave em a bit more the 15 cents on a 25.00 check!
Yesterday afternoon Im doing the dishes and talking to James. I am going to take him away for his birthday and mine in september. First we were planning florida because we wanted to do disney and all that crap. Its sort of expensive and if we want to do that we want to go all out with the theme parks and stuff. So I was thinking sanibel island that way we can be on the beach and just chill for a week. Then I expanded my options and just said to myself any place warm and tropical is fine with me, and started looking. Then yesterday while I am talking to James all of a sudden he says "baby ya know where I would really like to go in september?" and here I am thinking "yes! suggestions!"......"MAINE". Silence.....crickets......more silence......more crickets. Maine? who the hell wants to go to main. Yeah I understand you want to see the leaves change and really take in fall but Maine?????? Maybe Im just jadded because my parents used to take us to main on every vacation. I mean its nice and all but I wanted a real hardcore take a plane, get a tan do you like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain? type of vacation. But it is his birthday. Meh...I dont know its a while away, but still. MAINE??????
