So, the food at school has been unusually awful recently-maybe it's because we've been eating it straight for two months, but I really am starting to think I can't eat this food for another three years!
So I was incredibly pleased when my dad offered to take me to the Cheesecake factory last night. It was SOOOOO amazingly good, especially compared to the cafeteria food. He bought me a new sweater, too, since the one I had bought before got ruined in the wash. (note the passive voice....I did NOT ruin my shirt lol)
Then, today, I got to go out to eat again! It was Danielle's 18th birthday. We went to Federal Hill, and got some AMAZING Italian food at a restaurant there. Elina, Kateri, Danielle, Laura, Maria, Chrystele, and I all got really dressed up. The waiter thought we were 21...oh well, we told him the truth lol. Dinner was awesome, followed by a great dessert. The waiter even sang "happy birthday" in an operatic voice...he was amazing, and it made me wonder why he was serving us instead of performing in New York.
And on a more important matter, I think I am going to declare my major as English, with a minor in writing. I hope I can pull it off, since English is my favorite subject by far.I'm just afraid I won't have a job when I graduate.. Our waiter tonight told us he had been an english major....and now he served tables at the age of 35. That scares me a little, so words of encouragement would be very much appreciated....
Tomorrow Jess is coming to visit and go to the PC Friars hockey game. And then, on Sat, we're going to meet Fitz in Boston, and go celebrate the SOX VICTORY! This has the potential to be an awesome weekend...I hope I am not disappointed. ttyl guys.
