Yesterday was surprisingly alot of fun. I left the house around 2, and John and I went into Providence---let me just say, I missssssed Providence so much. I'm sick of people saying it's not a real city. Sure, it's a far departure from Boston but, in all honesty, Boston is a far departure from NY. Anyways, John and I parked at Providence Place, and then walked to Thayer Street. I decided to take a differnt way than I usually do, and I ended up (finally) discovering where the downtown "Brewed Awakenings" is (yay!) But John really wanted Starbucks, so we walked to Thayer and went to Starbucks, and then into Urban Outfitters.

After that, we walked through Brown, and then took a round-about walk through downtown. I was hoping to get maybe a little lost so I could really explore, but we ended up right back at Kennedy Plaza, and, since I have spent alot of time there thanks to the lovely bus system of RI, we got back to Providence Place very quickly.

Then we killed time in the mall, shopping and such. John really wanted to see the "Fantastic Four." I was skeptical, but I ended up really liking it. Sometimes you just need a fun movie like that.

We finished the night with a trip to the Olive Garden- John's request- and returned home around 11:15. It was really a fun day. I love hanging out with John- we don't do it nearly enough.

On a side note to you Mansfielders- Has anyone heard any details about the concert in Laura Hoeft's memory at the Holiday Inn (aka tix info, time, etc?) Nate Hughes called me asking if I wanted to go, but of course I'll never be able to get a hold of him, so if anyone heard anything please leave a comment. thanks! bye :)
