Summary: All is not as it seems and Ianto is seeking for answers and a man called Jack Harkness, he finds both and a hell of a lot more. His world is turned inside out as he realises that all he thought was real was a computer induced dream world. Torchwood hold the key to his salvation and that of the entire human race.

Author’s Notes: The Matrix is one of my favourite films ever - I went to see it every day when it first came out for three weeks and the, once it came out on DVD, a friend and I had a ritual where we’d watch it religiously once a week. So, if a lot of the dialogue seems lifted straight from the movie that’s because it’s imprinted in my brain and it’s too good to re-write.
