Today marks the first day of the posting period. For those that missed the post about it, there is no long a set deadline day but rather a four week period to post your fics. Starting today, June 16th and ending July 7th you can begin to post your fics/art. We've already had some people post this morning and I'm looking forward to reading some of ( Read more... )

I think the posting period is a great idea, btw. I'd join a lot more challenges if they had similar arrangements (this one was too cool to pass up, deadline or no).

I signed up for All About Eve as a writer, but I'm thinking about doing a comic-- would this be acceptable? I doubt it would have 1000 words of text (though you never know), but it would probably be about 8-10 pages (at least 1-4 panels per page) long. So far as I know, no one signed up for art for this film. What do you guys think?

I personally have no problem with that. :) No one else has signed up for that prompt, and the comic is combining both art and fic so I say go for it! *g*

Once the challenge is over we're going to open up the prompts for anyone who would like to choose one that didn't take part in the first round. At the moment we're only letting people who have already committed to doing one choose a second.

As you pulled out from the first round can you wait till the challenge is over so that anyone who has committed to doing one from the first round has first choice if they decide to do a second? Once the challenge is over you'll be free to choose any prompt you want. :)

::sigh:: I don't think I'll be able to make it, this fic just refuses to be written. I've not given up entirely, but I wanted to let you know before the last day just in case.

Thank you to everyone who organized and is running this challenge; it's a fantastic idea and incredibly fun (depsite my writer's block)!
