WHAT IS THIS PIECE OF CRACK GENIUS???

OMG SLAP BRACELETS!!!
Ngl, there was a time when I was envious of kids who had slap bracelets
Maru may be a creeper in denial but he's still adorable as ever and together with infinite friend, backseatman!Junno make an amazing creeping duo XDD

I can't even begin to quote my favorite lines because every single word had me doubling over in side-splitting laughter :DDDD
This is a completely useless comment, but just know that I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and Anon, you are brilliant <3

LOL They were so seriously popular when I was a kid; I recall having collected about three but I had them all confiscated once my father heard they'd been banned at another school. Such a wistful memory of wrist slapping fidgeting. I think they were a finer 90's memory for me than Pogs.

But yes! I'm glad you liked it; this might have been my favourite thing I've written this summer :D

Feel free to ignore this comment as I'm just reminiscing over 90's fads.
POGS!!! At one point I was a pog-collecting maniac. And any ounce of coolness just went out the window with that fact...

Hahah! How can I ignore a relevant 90's reference!

I had a love/hate relationship with pogs because I was never allowed to buy the real ones but my dad's wife at the time bought me a tube of those imitation milk caps. D: I had a cool slammer, though, with a silver skull on it so that made for some pretty good wins.

I have an image of this area of my school that had an overhang and underneath were kids scattered in different clusters playing different games. Just eerie lol

I had the opposite experience. I never had any slap bracelets. I tried to win one once in a gumball machine but ended up with a sticky hand, which was fun in it's own right, but still no slap bracelet D:

On the other hand, I was pog-crazy. I had a ton of pogs, a few slammers, and a board. Haha, yeah skulls and eight balls were pretty popular designs. There were small comic conventions at the local mall every month making pogs very easy to get at the time. Though, I probably spent more time collecting than actually playing >.>
Pogs and gigapets/tamagotchis were my fondest memories of the 90's.
