Personal Stuff you want to share ABOUT YOU:
Well...where to start. I used this LJ religiously for years then full out abandoned it for about the last two. Why am I back? I got a brand new computer for one thing, and I'm jonesing to back into my fandoms, and sharing with friends online. I just have to not let it consume ALL my time as it once did.
Unfortunately many of my friends abandoned their lj's as well in the time I was away...so my f-list is a bit small now....
About Me:
I plan to be a history teacher (probably 7th or 8th grade) which is a switch from film critic as previously declared on this site. I am back in school full time right now, working oddjobs part time. I had a yearlong relationship that I ended about a year ago, and feel it was just one of those life learning things....
I feel I'm a very open-minded person, very accepting, I love to just hear about people, and share about myself.
I recently tried to become very concious about the food I eat and where it comes from, I have been trying too eat mostly organic/sustainable foods. I am still a beginner in learning about all this, and would love to have some friends who are knowledgable on the subject. (Though you certainly don't have to be knowledgable or interested in this at all for me to enjoy having you as a friend)
I always wish I had more time to read...there just isn't all the time we need in a day. Favorite genres include Fantasy, Mythology, Fairy Tales, and Biographies. I am also interested in History, but would hardly consider myself highly knowledgable yet (I am working on it :) )
Die Hard Non-Movie(not all movie related) fandoms:
--- * Harry Potter*
--- * RENT*
--- * Carnivale*
--- * Heroes*
--- * Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel*
--- * Veronica Mars*
--- * LOST*
--- * Alias*
--- * Disney*
DO NOT ADD ME IF you are anti-gay in anyway, I guarantee you wouldn't enjoy me as a friend anyway if this is true of you, and I certainly wouldn't enjoy you. I am very in favor of gay rights, gay marriage etc. I am not gay persay but I believe love is love and gender is a secondary factor. Even if I didn't feel that way, I would still feel to belittle any one particular group of people like that is very wrong.
