Hi there - I've just joined, so I wanted to introduce myself, because I have a horrible tendency to descend into lurkdom after joining a community, and I'd really like to not do that any more.
I'm Emma, I'm 16, live in the UK, and I adore movies. Watch them all the time, can recite far too many by heart, spend a ridiculous amount of money on DVDs and cinema, and write movie-based fanfic.

Favorite Genres of Movies: I'm weird, in that I don't really think of movies as being any particular genre - that's just not how I sort them out in my mind. I have movies from more or less every genre that I love and cherish. I suppose Fantasy and Drama would be my favourites.
Favorite Cult Classic Film: Donnie Darko and Ed Wood.

First movie you saw in a theater: The Lion King, maybe? I think that's the first movie I saw more than once in a theater.

Favorite Comedy: It's hard, because all of the films I like that could be described as comedy are also drama, or action, or have some other genre in there. I don't tend to enjoy straight-up comedy films. I prefer it when the comedy is interwoven into the movie, rather than being its core. Oh, I do love Christopher Guest's work - This Is Spinal Tap, Waiting For Guffman, Best In Show...wonderful.
