I had my doctors appointment today in what I thought was going to be the first stage of a lengthy medical thing. I had good reason to figure that I was in the middle of quite a big health scare on my part and was absolutely bricking it going to the surgery today.
Thankfully, it turns out that it's not anything too major, so I should be ok for the time being. Blessed relief and I have been walking around feeling much better about stuff today.
That was until little brother phoned up about an hour ago and told me that mum has had to go back into hospital. Think that she will be home either tonight or tomorrow, but it's so unfair. It hurts, it really does and for all of the feeling of 'escape and triumph' that I felt when the docs gave me the good news, I now know just how trapped she must be feeling.
