Ok, today I went to Magik Earth in Shirley, just for a look round and to buy a few bits. First of all I was greeted my a lovely Border Collie cross called Daphne. I made a fuss of her and she gave me a kiss, the lady who owns the shop said 'She likes you'. When I went to pay for my purchases, one of which was Barbara Moore 's Book of Shadow's tarot

Ah, I have learnt something else... I assumed the named person for a tarot deck would be the artist, but actually it's like the interpreter [gropes blindly the word]. Well there you go... Makes sense. Like Gaiman & his graphic novel illustrators [not really Jenner, but you're trying at least...]. (For the record I know naff all about graphic novels, that's Kit's department, but I pay attention. Occasionally [grins]).

Sorry, straying from the point... Thanks for the link. Showed her it & she does like the artwork. Said she'd seen the High Priestess one before, but via the artist route if that makes sense...

Today's sobering thought... Since it was on my mind last night & your userpic has just reminded me. Most of the people on LJ will never have seen 'Allo 'Allo. And if they did, they will stare at us and go "WTH"... [sigh]. Oh how many times when Americans are holding up Benny Hill as classic infantile British humor, I've wanted to go "Nooooo, it's 'Allo 'Allo"... [mind goes off on tangent on how disproportionate that program is to pretty much everything in the number of female roles to male...]

the artists name is Aly Fell, he does a lot of this kind of thing, indo know he hasva Deviant Art page.

I love Allo Allo its a fantastic show, ive got them all on DVD
