Oh ok, so it's more about "understanding". The Tarot helps someone to understand their past, where they're at and where they may go... [intrigued] That makes a lot more about it make sense now (as I THINK I said, my sister is into a lot of this kind of stuff, but isn't really very approachable...). So it's helping to bring out stuff that the person perhaps couldn't perceive before...
Which makes me wonder, are the cards then reading the person's subconscious then, or is the reading from the wider plane (I'm sorry, I really don't know the proper terms [sheepish grin]). To be clear I'm NOT saying "It's all in their mind" [horrified look]. I guess I'm trying to clarify where the cards are getting their information from (sorry, that's how my mind works... your eyes must be tired from rolling at me). Obviously they are directed at whomever/whatever the reading is for. I just, yeah, where do they get their info from? [laughs]. Do they tap into what is already in the person's mind, they just don't know it... Or is it purely from the universe and the person concerned actually didn't even have a subconscious scoobie [slinks back to dunce corner].

First of all let me say, never ever apologise for asking questions, no matter if you think they're stupid or irrelevent, I said to a friend I would rather have one person read this blog who wanted to know anything and everything about tarot than have 60 know it alls telling me what they think I should be saying. I'm loving your questions, don't stop asking them.
But back to topic, yes I believe the cards are tapping into someone's subconscious, like I said about another reading, it spoke to the person more about a completely different area of his life than the question he originally asked. It's generally accepted that everything in the Universe is connected by a web of power (think of it as The Force) that web can help you 'See' it connects you to the past, present and future, so by tapping into that web, you can 'See', via the cards or a crystal, runes, Ouija board, these things just help us make sense of what we're told. You don't have to be the 7th Son of a 7th Son or have gypsy blood to be able to do it, anyone can, you just need to learn to tap into the web.
