Taking a break from downloading 1.03 to squee. :D :D :D

AfterElton.com just posted an interesting cover article about Gale. Touches on QaF, Vanished and fandom. I always get a thrill outta articles that acknowledge we, y'know, exist. Though I am sick of seeing the tired "mostly straight women" line.

Reader's Digest Version:• ONE OF MY VANISHED ( Read more... )

Totally a fangirl article. Although, I never suspected that it was Gale who was trying to de-queer his past. But the reasoning behind it (if it's true) does sound just like Gale. Wonderful, spectacular Gale.

I think it's always freaky when people publish things like this, because it's clear that the fandom is being watched. I want to know what this person's LJ name is. You know she has one.

And omgyouriconWAStotally quoted!

Fans] created photo galleries of Harold's sex scenes from Queer as Folk, asking, “Hey, Vanished fangirl, wanna see a picture?” Dude. There are? This musta happened in the forums?

It reminds me of those nifty Vanished/QAF icons that xocydcharisseox made. Hmm.

And now I have to go to work. Le sigh. Have a great day, Ree!

We are so being watched. *darts eyes around* So totally a fangirl... OMG IT WAS YOU, WASN'T IT! ADMIT IT! ;D

The bio thing surprised me, too. I was sure FOX was behind that somehow. But, yeah, it really does sound like a Gale thing. Especially when you have that iFmagazine article where he (affectionately) doesn't want to discuss Brian/QaF. New project, new topics, same Gale.

Those icons were the first thing I thought of, too, and had to backtrack when I realized the article was talking about galleries, not icons. I fell behind in forum reading, so just figured I'd missed them. Now I'm wondering if they actually exist or if the author is just bypassing the whole "usericon" label and calling them galleries.

Aw, thanks, hon, you too! :X

You could fairly hear the author's whispered squees between each line as you read, couldn't you? ;D

Now let's just hope those future projects mean something in front of a camera and/or theatre audience and not just a euphemism for "smoke weed on couch". ;D
