Camera coverage not necessary, but I wouldn't complain. See #1. (6) I want Yara's hair, omg. And her purse. And her clothes. And her sunglasses. And her man. (7) Where are your socks, Gale, where? And why do you all of your pants lately look like pajama jeans? (8) Could Gale's legs BE LONGER I DO NOT THINK SO. (9) Those nipples really are perky. (10) Not gonna lie, I expected the final shot to be Gale flipping the paps off adfkjas.

In other news, Adele was fuckin' flawless Sunday night at the MTV VMAs. Meanwhile, Gaga was OMGOBNOXIOUSPLZSTOP. I haven't cringed that much since Grey's Anatomy's musical ep. I'm not even sure what she said 99% of the time since I'd muted it AND IT STILL MADE ME CRINGE. That Britney tribute was on crack, wtf, I AM DISAPPOINT. And I'm not sure how she gets her body and hair to move like that, but Beyonce and her bb were hypno-fucking-tizing dancing that number. She sounded so good and looked so happeh! Y'know, I mighta enjoyed Chris Brown even a tiny bit if I wasn't thinking of Rihanna bruised and bloody the whole time. :| I'm still not sure how I feel about the Amy tribute. Russell talking about the first time he heard her sing, aww. I still can't believe how healthy and happy she looked to be singing in the Tony Bennett footage. Oh, Amy. ♥ :'(

I know this ep was all about the awesome that is River and LOTSA BIG STUFF HAPPENING SUPER RUSHED (The Doctor coming back! River was Amy's childhood BFF! The Doctor died! River gave him all her regenerating lifeforce stuff! TARDIS getting shot! River being the TARDIS's daughter! River having regenerated as a kid in the past and thus making me remember the little girl from the early ep! Hitler in a closet! (Actually, the Hitler stuff felt off to me. He was too cartoonish, but I get that it's a family show -- and the ep really wasn't supposed to be about Hitler anyway. At least the Doctor was >:| to him.) Future shapeshifting robots from the future!), but I basically just spent an hour making ridiculously loud happy noises every time Rory was on-screen.
Rory: Is anybody else finding this day just a bit difficult? I'm getting this sort of banging in my head.
Amy: Yeah, I think that's Hitler in the cupboard.
Rory: That's not helping.
Rory: Okay. Okay, I'm trapped inside a giant robot replica of my wife. I'm really trying not to see this as a metaphor.
