Huh. Well. This ep was pretty bleh. I'd say the ep seemed more geared toward children, but it had some dark themes. But it did have fun moments. Like finding out that basically the Siren = The Doctor from ST: Voyager, lol. My fave bit, cos I'm 5 yrs old: 11 putting his hand in the alien boogers. HIS EW FACE KILLED ME. And then he wipes his hand off on Amy and her long-suffering look of acceptance alfdjaks.
My other fave moment. COS THIS IS TRU WUV OKAY.

11/TARDIS, I ship it. ♥
DUDE. EyepatchDoorLady showing up again and saying "you're doing fine, just relax" etc is starting to sound like things you say to someone in labor. And with the pirate ship/alien ship being in the same spot in time and reflections/windows/etc making it possible to see through into another dimension, I'm thinking that's why the TARDIS can't lock in on whether Amy is pregant or not. Because in another dimension she is! And it's reading both. EyepatchDoorLady's line in the season opener was about "she's dreaming", so maybe the Alt!Amy saw through to the other side and freaked or such and EyepatchDoorLady was calming those around her, explaining away her reaction. Or something like that. *expansive wavey hands*
Gotta admit, was kinda glad at first when the kid got supposedly killed by the Siren. Sorry, kid, your pirate dad is an ass. I wanted dad to learn that lesson and learn it HARD. /heartless bitch
CPR scene. *facepalm* I kept thinking, they wouldn't be this cliche, would they? He won't suddenly start coughing and wake up, will he? And then he did. :| And I did find it interesting that while 11 did walk away seemingly in defeat, Amy stopped too. Even after Rory's, "I know you won't give up." I know I'm reading too much into it, but I just expected her to y'know, not give up.
That said, YAY RORY IS ALIVE! ♥
