AND THAT IS ONE OF THE BZILLION REASONS WHY I LOVE THIS SHOW.

Okay, now that I got that out of my system!
• OMGWTF they killed the Doctor right off the bat aldkfjas. That was incredible! Love that set-up for the season mystery. *bounces* Also neato: Getting to watch the team react to the Doctor being murdered before their eyes and then while they're still pretty much still in shock BOOM! here he comes outta the bathroom. EP-IC. And that boat funeral was super sobering. Even if my Star Wars roots made me think of Darth Vader, just on water. I can't help it, okay. ;)
• I could guess forever who it was in the space suit at the picnic. From River (she's said she has to kill the man she loves, etc) to Amy's future baby, to Amy herself, to someone we haven't met yet, to the Doctor himself. Have I mentioned how much I love time travel?
• DOCTOR: Rory, is everybody cross with me for some reason?
OMG THAT BROKE MY HEART. JUST THE WAY HE SAID IT, ALL UNSURE AND WORRIED AND V. CHILDLIKE. :(((((((((((((((
• Amy is pregnant! Maybe. Sorta? No one knows, not even the TARDIS, ooooh. I liked how the scan colors flipped back and forth between pink and blue in that split second it would give a positive reading, so we can't even point at the little girl with any confidence and say that's her bb, despite the photos in the room. And I just realized it was more a positive/negative coloring, not girl/boy. Heh.
And maybe it's just that I ship Amy/Rory so hard that I'm balking at the red herring theory that the little girl is her and the Doctor's child, but it just doesn't feel right. If anything, I could see Amy unknowingly being used as an egg donor by the Silence and then the baby being switched to the space suit, acting like a womb. But even that doesn't sit right, cos, duh, the little girl wasn't eaten by the space suit until way later. And now I have to move on to the next bullet cos more I think about this, more I'm confusing myself aldkfjas.
• The woman in the door said something about "she's just dreaming" when Amy knocked. Ya just know that's gonna be important later.
• River Song remains made of 100000% AWESOME. I would seriously watch her spin-off show with chin-in-hands levels of rapt attention. Her broken face at the end of 6.02 made my eyes well up. That it's all over, their first kiss happening, and just omg. Time travel is a bitch. :((((
• Awesome aliens yet again, show. Fight those aliens! Wait, what aliens? The blinking palm recorders and then the marks all over their bodies, omg, the marks especially creeped me the fuck out. Especially when Amy was in the room and they kept multiplying everywhere on her. Was nifty too how they first introduced the palm recorders by having us essentially be Canton in the TARDIS, not remembering an encounter. CREEPY.
• Did have a "huh?" moment when Amy looked down to take a photo of the alien in the bathroom -- and yet still knew who they were when she looked up. Was it because she had a view of them the whole time in the camera's phone, thus not really looking away, or did I miss something? I don't have the ep here at the mo to check exactly where her eyes were. And I'm obsessive like that adflkajs.
• Rory and his insecurities are making me want to fix him soup and have hug-a-thons. His wee stupid little face, it just kills me. And then Amy's there, assuring him he's being a stupidhead, awwww. They're so one of my favorite couples ever.
• Loved the Doctor asking Rory about those 2000 yrs spent guarding Amy and Rory's nope, sorry, don't remember it, except when I do, woe. BFFs, yo.
• Amy being all UM EXCUSE ME PRIORITIES PPL when River and the Doctor were flirting while rescuing her CRACKED ME UP OMG.
• Intriguing that the Doctor who showed up at the picnic first was 1100 yrs old and in the same #11 body. Bodes well for Matt Smith, heh. But, not really, I guess, considering how this season will prolly muck with the current timeline. I just don't want Matt Smith to go away. *clings*
• Canton has a boyfriend. FTW. Everything about Canton is FTW, really. His going around hunting the team and putting them in the perfect box was pretty damned convincing until he finally broke character! Also, the Doctor with his scruffy beard = still adorkably cute.
• The look and feel of this season is freakin' incredible. And I'm not just saying that cos I'm in America. ;D Srsly, the colors are stunning.
• PLUS EVERYTHING ELSE. I know I'm forgetting stuff, but, oh man, assume I thought it was all kick-ass and genius. Cos it was!
I love that once the finale airs, all this confusion WILL SUDDENLY MAKE SENSE. :D :D :D
