Well, Vampire Diaries is an awesome show (and I'm not being sarcastic), so don't write this one off yet. Britt Robertson is great, and Thomas Dekker is also in this and I adore him.

IA. With Kevin Williamson at the helm I have faith that he could turn the series into something quite interesting and full of "holy shit" moments, like with TVD. TSC wasn't my favourite of LJS' series but I think the subject material will give them lots to work with.

Right? I can't count the number of times TVD has surprised me and kept me guessing. And the characters are fantastic, right down to the guest stars. It's such an underrated show.

Oh, gosh, no, I'm not worried about quality. I've always been YAY just about having Gale on my tv, no matter. I was headdesking the fact the show's about witches, which is material I won't watch. Had I been more awake when I wrote this post, I totally woulda mentioned that. D'oh. ;)
