It breaks me every time. :( Paul has a song he wrote in John's memory that he sings in concert. He rarely makes it through without breaking down in some form. It's heartbreaking.

Sigh. Today just really sucked.

But I do love that pic! :D Definitely one of my faves of them. No one around but them and the sea. Er, and the camera person, lol. And that one guy in the background alfkjdas. ANYWAY. The Beatle song Two of Us? I always think of that when I see this pic. Oh, boys. ♥

wow...what a great photo of the two most amazing songwriters in history.
Thirty years, it's been 30 years....a lifetime to some a blink of the eye to others.
We all have our own memories of 12/8/80...I got a phone call about 11PM that night from NYC friend saying John had been shot...minutes later that he had died. Horrid horrid event...to this day one has to wonder why such an amazing human being would be taken out of this life by such an idiot (Sigh) What a waste...
