Okay, assholes:
If it's a dire emergency, and I'm being warned about the end of the world, or someone I know is in the hospital, by all means, call me. If there's some urgent problem and you have to talk to me, if you're very upset and need a bit of a friendly voice, pick that phone right up. Emergency = a-ok.
Otherwise, never, ever, EVER call me at 2 in the mother-fucking morning. I don't care who is missing from whatever social event. I really don't. I don't care who gave you their number. What are the odds that they're going to be in any condition to call you back or go see you at that time of night- wait, I'm sorry- MORNING? Fucking think before you do this.
You wanna make sure your friend isn't dead? Ok. You wanna know if they're coming to your party? You're gonna be met with hostility, verbal and otherwise.
