First off, the "book blurb" summary on Amazon is teeth-grindingly wrong. Her mate bond didn't break. Nor did it get chewed through, or replaced. le sigh.
Second, if we are going to start invoking the magical spirit of mixed religions, I want more background on ALL of the religions and beliefs involved. I can't tell more without spoiling it for the unread, but grrr.
Beyond that, it was a pretty good book.
