Woohoo for no fines!

When I updated my address details from moving to Ormond St; apparently VicRoads typoed my house number and all of my mail was being misdirrected.

Figured this out as confirmed when my Rego was going to expire in a weeks time and I received no renewal notice (and those generally pop up well in advance.) Anyhoo~ so that made me think "Oh bugger; what if I'd ticked a red-light or a speeding fine and it's gone to the wrong address?"

Well after the first VicRoads Officer being utterly useless and downright frustrating. I ended up calling back today and got someone who knew the system and was able to help me. After a bunch of "security questions" I was able to update my address details and pay my rego.

But what about the fines (if there are any)? Vic Roads apparently don't manage them (never knew this!) The Sheriff's Office does. Well well; after waiting in a queue for 30 minutes; finally confirmed that I haven't received any fines or advisements for demerit points.

Awesome. <3

Worry over.
