Ah~
After reading a bit of the crappy manga that Sian has asked me to sell-off on eBay for her, I checked some of them online to read further, seeing as they were crappy, but a little bit interesting. THe kind of manga you'd read - but definately not invest money into. (I know a few manga like that, I'm sure everyone does.)
But when checking out Minotuar for manga I've been having trouble aquiring - I found that Gokusen is being translated and released! Much love - as this is a very enjoyable and funny manga, about delinquents and yakuza, and has a romance in it too. I actually think Sian may like it.
I had to go trolling through IRC some of the crap manga continuations of what she had - and ended up finding Gokusen on one of the XDCC Bots there, and ended up reading it all yesterday and today, (much well-wasted time).
But! I'm missing the last volume and a few chapters, so close to the end, and I can't WAIT to know what happens :0
And I found they made an anime of it, and also that it was so popular - a J Drama was made of it, now I have never watched a J Drama - and have only ever seen rabid fans, or people insult the crap out of it (an un-healthy balance of opinion).
BUT! Now, it's Gokusen, and it is great - I watched a few minutes of the J Drama online, and have decided to give it a try! (Oh noes!). But worry not, as I highly doubt I'll get into J Dramas, it's more that I really really just love Gokusen. :D <3~
