Room available in NoPo starting June 5th
We are 3 Reed alums ('11 and '10) along with a super smart dog and 3 adorable rabbits looking for a renter or summer sublettor. The house is a cool old place (built in 1905) right near St. John's and is divided into 2 living spaces--you would share the main part of the house with a couple (3 bedrooms/1 bath) and the basement is a 1 bedroom/1 bath apartment for the 3rd housemate who is also the landlord. There's a (mostly full) garage, a large kitchen, a decent-sized backyard, and we are planning to have a vegetable garden started by the move in date. There are a couple bus lines that run right past the house, so transportation is fairly convenient. We are very close to the Mississippi and Alberta neighborhoods, not to mention St Johns and all the stuff on Lombard right around us.
The room can include a mattress and bookshelf if wanted, or it can be empty if you bring your own furniture. Rent is $467, utilities range from $50-150 depending on quarterly and bimonthly bills.
Between the 3 of us, our hobbies include music-making, ham radio, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, animals, film making, target-shooting, game playing, movie watching, etc. We generally keep regular hours during the week (work and all that) and like seeing our housemates, which is easiest if they keep similar hours.
