Da cookout

[For the purpose of this entry, "Morgan" and "Mallory" shall mean Morgan McIntire, and Mallory McIntire, {respectively} as opposed to Morgan Hepburn and Mallory Hepburn. But of course, only Loren an Eleesha know them, so..]

Last night's "Homeschool cookout" at Harvest was surprisingly pleasant. Of course, only because Morgan and Hollie were there. And they are not homeschooled (lucky girls). There is no one in the homeschool group anymore that I actually enjoy talking to anymore, so my expectations were low. Well anyway, first we played a moderately fun game of football, then ate... And then Hollie suggested a game of football European style. Futbol (In other words, Soccer). Since pretty much all the kids there play soccer, we had a full teams. It was a wonderful, frollicking and violent game. Some incidents included:
-Me running into Dani and both of us falling over
-Five minutes later, me and Dani colliding head-on and falling to the ground
-Morgan kicking Mallory right in the eye
-Morgan kicking a ball into my face,
-Seth stabbing me in the eye
-Me running around in a circle after we won, giving all my teammates hugs and accidentally kind of tackling Morgan
It was great fun. And very humorous. After that I was going to play Capture the Flag with a bunch of people I don't like, when I realized that I was about to play
Capture the Flag with a bunch of people I don't like. Aaron Morrison was already making up ridiculous rules, so I quit. Instead I sat on the porch and talked to Morgan and Sarah Kleine for like, two hours, which I'm sure was far more fun than playing an Aaron-marred version of capture the flag. We mostly just talked about school, (and lack thereof) and stupid people, and school. It made me want to go to school SO BAD!!!! But it was very interesting. Then after about two hours we had to leave. For a homeschool event, it was great.
