it's christmas time in the city --

i liked christmas better when i was a kid, or at least i really liked christmas eve, because it was just this special little day once a year when something magical happened, and everyone knew about it -- and anyone in the tv movies who said santa claus didn't exist was just being evil and mean, and the power of faith and imagination would always win the day. now people just look at me weird when i talk about flying reindeer and it's not in a song, and it's normal to be evil and mean and not believe.

i'm still gonna stay up and listen for sleigh bells, though XP secretly, though, or else he won't come!
