Post-FC Comedown
To sum it up, the weekend was an absolute blast...I got home last night after a 7 hour busride; having gotten my wisdom teeth out the day before I've been pretty hopped up on painkillers while trying to ignore the throbbing holes in the back of my jaw. I'm not going to kid myself and think I'm going to write anything coherent here, but I did want to say thanks to everyone who made the weekend fun. I was really pleased at the reaction that Cobb got, and was blown away to have won the Novice division of the masquerade, especially considering the caliber of competition (many props to both Miss Monster for her intricately gorgeous suit, and also to Thumper for making Geronimo so damn sexy.)
In total, it was just a nice, laid back time chatting with so many different creative people who love to do what they do. Sure, I didn't get to talk to everyone I wanted to nor do everything I wanted, but I really enjoyed the time I did get to spend with folks, and look forward to when we can do it again. But for now...sleeep *Zzzzzz*
