The Redwood Curtain Strikes Again!

I find myself with the catch-22 of my LJ lament...the longer I wait between posts, the more I have to post about and thus the more likely I am to be overwhelmed by the daunting task of a journal update that I don't write anything at all! Hooray for existentialism! So I'm just going to assume that the most important thing that ever happened to me was the thing that happened most recently to save me the aggravation of trying to decide what things are "Journal Worthy" or not.

So let's see...what's new with us...

I live in a house that's like a cross between The Brady House and Studio 54. In late May our roommates are moving out, and if all goes well we're going to have a fur we met recently move it. Muy bueno.

Arcata is a beautiful town, but beneath its shiny veneer lies a seamy incestuous underbelly where *everybody* knows everyone else and it's really weird!!!

We got a $255 dollar parking ticket while picking up pizza during my lunch break on Monday, for stopping in a bus zone. We had to wait for lovely Rita to finish writing the ticket before we could even drive off. Most expensive slice of pizza....ever.

Making fursuits is much less fun than just having them and cuddling with them.

Ummmmmmmm....other than that, Mike and I are doing well up here in Fantasy Land. Kinda hard not to enjoy yourself when the only smog in the air is pot smoke, but we're loving it just the same :)
