(WORD)-alicious!
It's been a while since I've updated or had a free moment, so I figured I'd murder two birds with one stone (and cook them with mesquite!)
In a nutshell, life has been pretty good to me up here - per my usual course I always end up doing what I *should* be doing instead of what I think I want to be doing. To that end, I'm selling futons and unfinished hardwood furniture to upper middle class hippies on the town's square. I've also started doing staining and finishing as well as some financial duties (aka: bitch work) It's a good thing because I'm learning the system and figuring out how to function outside a classroom, but learning to deal with the stress involved has blown several goats. All part of the growing process, I suppose, to keep my skills honed until I get old enough to dump all my dirty work on some unsuspecting schmoe. Yeah. I can't wait.
On the relationship front we have fair skies with a chance of scattered showers here and there. I'm trying to open up more emotionally only to let a flood pour in. I'm not so used to dealing with these "emotions" as you humans call them, but it's a good challenge for me to figure out what I really want out of everything in life. But in the midst of driving myself insane I'm managing to keep myself busy here and there - I'm almost done with the fursuit head ('tis a bat-ress this time!) and getting some drawing done too.
Throw in some sleeping and eating here and there and you're looking at my life. I still miss all my friends who are far away but try not to let it get me down too much...thank God for FC in a few months. :)
