That's right. Amputees, with new limbs more powerful, sleeker, more beautiful than those you were born with. I want them. Not just because my knee feels like I've been impaled with a railway spike. Not because I can't write longhand for more than a half hour. Those do count, but I've been fascinated with the world of design and possibility that lies beyond the Singularity, and I want to be there.
