Wow-- Over a month since my last post.
And *so* many things to *no* talk about.
No paying work yet. Volunteered with Fringe this month, and I'm going to help out with Summer Works in August.
Neither are Tech. jobs, but they're still in Theatre.
One of Phil's friends works at the Mod Club doing LX...and has offered to let me "shadow" him at work. I may just take him up on that. It can't hurt to widen my knowledge of Instruments and how they work.
I may also start looking for Intern positions online...workinculture.ca has apparently posted some of these recently.
Now--
Paying work, where to go? I've applied to Tim's and Second Cup, and a few other similar places/positions .. and no word yet. And I'm aware that there's a recession, but it doesn't ease my concerns a whole lot about that. Every so often I'll see help wanted ads for Quizno's and actually be tempted. I'm *that* poor right now, and desperate to be able to get out to do something constructive that will *earn* me money and not cost it.

On a different note, I may be starting to write again.
I have some vague/tentative ideas for both a fantasy-ish Y.A. story... and a play. The play is based on myself and some other important people in my life. It will mostly centre around a family that is falling to pieces because the father is gone, the Mother is losing grip, and the children are either depressed or angry all the time and continually squabble.
(Like I said..I only have *vague* ideas about how I'm going to develop the plots for these stories.)
