This 10 minute training session was supposed to be a 20 minute project .. 2 hours later I gave up fighting with the video editing and decided I didn't care if there were any videos in slow motion. Bah!
Oh well.
Lucero had his first jump exercise (his next one will probably be in a month). Very very happy with his drive to a dead toy on the ground and his jumping form. Eek, another natural :) :) :)
I really want to play with Beamer and Yankee feeling comfortable at 26" this winter. They both looked great. Yankee has always been a natural, and I think 26" would be more about conditioning her and my timing than worrying about dropped bars. Beamer showed some huge improvement in his confidence! This boy is maturing :) Last spring he'd dive around the jump when it was over 22", so while he dropped the first set, he took it with confidence and jumped higher the 2nd and 3rd times, with nice form. Should be a fun winter!
And watch for Ra's kamikaze move on Beamer's first turn. I was shocked to see Beamer go for the toy INSTEAD of Ra when they were right next to each other. :) Notice Ra hung out in the forest for the rest of the jump drills :)
