Cynosport day 3
Such a long and emotional day!
Started off the day with an E in Team Jumpers due to a slight misstep and sending Yankee to the wrong side of the jump after the weaves, and therefore losing our shot at top individual. It was fun while it lasted :)
Took me awhile to shake it, and I watched a team be devastated by their teammate leaving nationals with 2 runs to go to instead attend a local AKC show they had entered without letting them know. Um wow.
But the day turned around and Yankee had a lovely 51 point and 8th place Team Gamblers run. Beam had a solid 43 points and I was proud of his drive.
Yankee had a lovely 7th place run in Steeplechase semifinals, so we get to run under the lights twice. WOW. So so so cool.
And the heartbreaker was GP Finals, but I'm so proud of both of our efforts and am working to put away the woulda coulda shouldas. We didn't E, it was a super fun run, and I was so proud to be among some of the best border colors with my little pint sized (not a mini ;) ) Aussie.
I so love being here with my Aussies and am dreaming if I can make Tennesee happen. Two more days!!
PS: beams team is in 15th with only team jumpers to go .. Holy shit!!!!!
