i just finished studying one of pinter's plays at school...
this has just risen my opinion of him higher than it was before

I haven't actually read any of his plays, John Pilger quoted him in a documentary so I've been reading his quotes and he is a brilliant man. He definitely knows what's actually going on in the world, which is still far too great a rarity.

Do you have a play you would recommend I check out?

well i've only read the Dumb Waiter which was good and a very interesting commentary on society, but i must say i preferred the two other absurdist plays we studied.
though i think the Pinter play was the most political of the three of them, come to think of it...

I'll take a look at it, I've heard the caretaker is really good and I want to check that out as well.
