GOOOOOOOOOTh Daim
so yeah, its been 4ever since ive used livejournal...i come here almost every day to give a read, but ive always been too much in a hurry to actually post.
so nothing much is new.
Semester is almost over...then i get my 2 weeks off then another crazy 10 weeks of school.... =\ My anna is moving to Germany next month on the 29th. She wants to stay and go to school, but i have doubts on whether she can get the visa thing cleared up in time. I had planned on making a trip to Europe next summer, but the costs are accumulating like crazy. If I go ill probably be confined to just Germany and The Netherlands, rather than my initial itenerary from Italy,Germany,Netherlands, Spain, France, and the UK.
Anywho im still gonna stash at least 1/2 of my paychecks to the Euro-trip...and ill book the plane if i feel ill have enough for the stay....
So recently i started going to Lucky Devils again. The guys are all cool and happy to see me going again. Ron offered me a place on the Lucky Devils Staff. "I know you got school, so when your ready, tell me and ill make you part of the Lucky Devil's Team and well get you working on big shows"
lol i stayed in the club till like 4 am Friday(saturday) night...just hanging with the guys...i walked around the stage finding picks in some dark or hidden places...i found all these satan picks, and 2 picks from michael graves @_@..
so yeah Right now im hella tired...i spent most the night doing my presentation for todays Final. I finished around 3:30 and I woke up at 5 am to drive my dear anna to the Airport (spending a week in San Francisco) and ive been awake since. Im surprised i havent dozed off at work yet. Anywho i have class from 11-1 today and im just gonna come back to work till 6....hopefully i can snag some good hours this week and next so i can pay my way to Baloonfest 3 days, HIM, and the Warped Tour without hurting my wallet too much. (still gotta save up for Germany)
I may possibly get another job at Community College Slamming down the Grammar Hammer as an ESOL tutor. pays like 2$ more than my current job, and the hours would be pretty much the same (although im sure i wont be able to come and go as i please as the job i have now)
As far as booking goes.. The local stuff is out, Im gonna start trying to book all those outta towners i get all the time...(the locals I used to book are playing the bar gigs now *and getting paid good money too) so yeah, im gonna stop sending most my shows to Barry and see what i can do for em now that i got more time on my hands.....ooh yeah also Sorry for the whole Jupiter Sunrise deal earlier this month, thier booking agent pulled a fast one on us.. (basically he promised Jupiter Sunrise, and dropped the show without telling us in order to get "Dont Let GO" a good turn out (they wanted us to promote the show and sell tickets then cancell last minute so the opener would still have a crowd. So yeah WE didnt wanna JUST book them so we dropped it.
anywho im at work, so i guess im gonna do that work thing now
PS Group X show is in the works (negotiating with the band)
