It's this time of year...
That I miss writing sports.
Didn't think I'd miss it as much as I do. News is a drag compared to watching sporting events.
I still shoot sports for TailWind but I've only managed to make four football games and one volleyball match. Missing soccer, tennis and swimming totally it looks like.
City Council and County Board meetings just don't compare. Board of Education, now I've grown accustomed to covering those, on the other hand.
I wanted a change a year ago, so badly that I started chasing my Foto News job a full three months before it was vacated. I got the job and the change.
Not the change I really needed though. I need to finish the change to running my own show, controlling my destiny again. To do that I have to find a way to make TailWind take off, and the next month will tell the tale, I feel.
My show is roughly ONE MONTH AWAY!!!!!!
Nov. 1, 2009 is my "D Day!"
