yep .. it started a few months ago I think.. I forget what percentage it is, but my account is a premier or business whichever they call it, and for example, I just recieved a $46.70 payment from Germany .. the paypal fee was
$1.33 & the cross border fee was .46 ..

As if they need to charge us even more :((

Its nice to see you posting again, I missed all the BS that happened awhile back, and you've caught me at a rare quiet moment, lol.. kiddos are back in school and busier than ever :)
Hope you've been well!!

Yeah, I went into hiding for a while after that.
Really felt bad about the whole situation...
Just another skeleton in my closet. :/

Anyway, it's expense enough as it is to handle overseas orders.
This just takes the cake. There has to be an alternative.

Perhaps I should check into taking international postal money orders.
Does it cost to cash one of those?

I added your store to my info page.
I keep a running list of friend's shops.
It's so nice to see you again.
I've been missing you. :)

It doesnt cost anything to cash international money orders .. I usually just deposit them ..
*sigh*
Things keep changing.. it doesnt affect me, but ebay will soon not allow sellers to "discriminate" paypal payments, meaning if you accept paypal in an aution you have to accept all paypal payments, including credit cards.

Whatever that was all about, it doesnt worry me, I just felt badly that you had left :(

Are you still selling online ?

Most of my sales have been 'in real life'.
Although, I am getting back to selling online.
Having site troubles though.

Well, if ebay wants PayPal users to accept all payment types, they can take the fees off for taking credit cards. I've sold things to people & taken CCs. In most cases, the fees where more than the items themselves.
:( Same with shipping. It has gone through the roof.

People think I charge a handling fee just for taking their orders to the post office. They can't seem to realize the handling fee is to pay part of their packaging. Excuse the hell out of me if you want your stuff destroyed in the mail. *sigh*

Is it just me, or is your journal & site hard as hell to read...
Anyway, I ditched GreenZap too. There's no way to verify users or keep track of transactions properly. Plus, they don't even have shopping cart buttons.

As for me leaving GO, there wasn't much choice in the matter on my part.
Although I have never disagreed with Noc's decision. I set myself up for it.

My heart was in the right place, but my head wasn't. :/
As my mom has been know to say, "God forgive & the rest can go to hell". lol
