TM # 243 - If you could be in the Olympics (summer or winter), what event/sport would you want to do
Falconry is not an Olympic event, and Redwing and I would be disqualified if it was, so nothing, I suppose. Falconry's the only sport I've ever practiced, since birdwatching certainly doesn't count either. And I haven't do it at all properly in years--all the accessories and procedures sort of go out of the window when you can talk to the birds directly, and Redwing would have some firm words with me if I tried to put a hood on him or tie him with jesses.
I suppose there are the gymnastics and martial arts I've learned from Steve, but being trained to fight crime in the streets and to perform professionally are very different things, and I only have--or want--the former. If I wasn't disqualified for being superhuman (even if my only gifts are completely unrelated) I'd probably not do very well against people who've been training their lives to do compete.
And besides. Why would I want to go seek an Olympic metal when I could spend the time here in my neighborhood, protecting the people I care about?
