I am sitting here in my moms mink jacket, a string of pearls with a large tear drop of amber with a leaf in it. one of my mothers crowns and her shear leopard scarf that smells like her. Ive been wearing this stuff for hours. Walked into the gas station like this with jeans and a tank top. *giggle*. Everything smells like her

Wow... I didn't realize she was such a figure in MN "history"! I have a hat from a lady like that who used to be deep into such things here in Saint Paul. I felt kind of funny - it was a bid I won at her estate sale - but what a house full of closets and (all be it voyeuristic) memories! From a time when such lightness and silliness really meant something! We've so lost that... not entirely - Winter Carnival and bits of the State Fair still have a wistful fringe of it...

To date ... the youngest aquitential queen still. She was 3-4 weeks out of HS.

No dogs policy at the zoo. Just be me and Iain. C will be out Sunday. He has to work.

HMMMMMM can you smell it? I just made blueberry apricot oatmeal bread for this weekend.
