This is just great. I'm glad this school is full of such awesome people.
Before everyone starts going on and on about how much purebloods suck or whatever the hell, because I KNOW that's gonna happen, we're not all like that.
Personally if I ever find out who wrote that I'd like to smash their face into the ground. Then we'll see who's a
No, I know if I were the one to deal with them, they would first get all the proper punishments for disrespect of this magnitude and to go through some proper cultural lessons- and I would suggest therapy depending on the severity if they are within the jurisdiction of the school.
Hatred, racism, and stereotyping are learned behaviors. A first year who is just trying to look 'badass' would be treated differently when it comes to a sixth year doing it. Be it a pureblood or Muggleborn. There are problems on both sides of the spectrum that needs to be addressed and fixed.
Violence only proves their ideals. Such as 'Look at what Alfred did, he loves Muggles! It proves Muggles and their supporters are all just primitive and violent.'
Remember, a lot of pureblood support comes from faulty 'studies' and ideas that have been around longer then Hogwarts.
Even though it is easier to try and beat a lesson into someone, it is best to show how they are wrong. As I said, these are learned behaviors and no one is born hating anyone.
Violence won't either. Discrimination is something hard to unlearn.
For example, what if I said 'Well, I think the Britons are better then the Americans.' You'd be upset and angry- but how would you change my views on the topic? I doubt you'd organize a blanket party for me.
I am sure you would come to me going 'Here is how I can prove Americans are just as good as Britons. Americans invented airbags, DNA Computing and the artificial pacemaker.' And while you give me more proof, my old theories would have less legs to stand on.

If they can't figure out why it's wrong, it's not like anything else is gonna get through.

Although they no longer allow smoking and really only international flights get meals now- so they are less awesome to me then before.
