That's Not What Dead Means

I wrote a big ol' long rant than decided to erase it. Just know the title is a reference to something that is ticking me off.

In short: I don't think the Beyblade fandom is dead (strictly fanfiction speaking). I don't even think it is dying. I think its audience as a whole has grown older and has become busier. I took frequent hiatuses (much to my annoyance) during Loose Lips and I managed to get more attention with it than with Teacher's Revenge (when the fandom was "alive"). I always just want to be like, "There are two things dead stuff typically don't do: move or talk." Stories are updated and reviewed every day so until that stops, it is alive.

Anyway....

Degrassi has started again. I missed the beginning half of tonight's episode because Shawn and I went to get some Wendy's. I kind of just watch the show for the sake of watching it. I'm not a huge fan, but I've seen almost all the episodes of the past... however many seasons there are. I've even seen a few of the really old shows (they're amusing in their own way). The thing I found really amusing is that they usually play indie stuff for songs in the background, but they were playing something else entirely in the first episode of the Summer Season (caddyeverafter7 would have enjoyed this):

This band is totally indie, right?

Hum.

I should really do some editing soon. My sleep schedule is really out of it still. I didn't help it either by taking a random nap (almost said random map XP) at like 6 PM. Pretty good at turning things around. I'll probably end up listening to music and doing nothing productive though. Oops, I guess?
