Featured artiste: Eva Simons
Unfortunately, this week's BBC Radio 1 Top 10 artistes are artistes I have featured before, so for the first time, I am featuring the supporting singer, Eva Simons that appeared in Will.I.Am's song "This Is Love" which premiered, May 14th 2012.
Eva Simons is a dutch artiste, born in Amsterdam in a family of musicians. In 2009, Eva's song "Billy Boy" gained popularity on the internet, presumably on Youtube garnering over 20+ million views which landed her a deal with EMI.
In mid 2010, Eva and another artiste, Mike Hamilton wrote a song "Take Over Control" and showed the song for for DJ Afrojack. The song gained instant commercial success elevating the profiles of DJ Afrojack and Eva Simons. Eva did premier the single "I Don't Like You" on March 2012 which did get number one in the US Dance hits. And now Eva Simons in collaboration wtih Will.I.AM is at number 4 with the song "This Is Love".
