Justin Bieber is another Canadian pop artiste from Stratford, Ontario. His story was made famous because he was discovered by Scooter Braun who came across his videos on Youtube and became his manager. Scooter introduced him to Usher in Atlanta and Justin was signed onto the Raymond Braun Media Group which is a joint venture between usher and Braun and then Island Records and the rest became history. Hid debut album, ``My World`` became an instant success becaming platinum in the United States. He is also the first artiste to have seven songs from a debut album all on the BillBoard Hot 100 charts. The sequel album also became a commercial success.

Anyways, as much as I am loathe to like him which I don`t, I have to admire his success and so far as well, he remains as humble as always, donating a lot of his time and money to charity. He may be Christian but he is open to everyone`s sexual orientation describing it as a personal choice. He contributed to the ``Ìt Gets Better`` project, the campaign that aims to prevent suicides among LGBT teens.

Anyway, his new single `Boyfriend` charts this week at number two on the UK Top 40 Singles Charts, behind another Canadian artiste, Carly Rae Jepsen.
