Away For a Few Days
Heading down to Halifax in a few hours to see the specialist on Monday. Will be back Wednesday late.
Had to take Mouse to the hospital last night with severe abdominal pains. They took x-rays and drew blood and kept her overnight to do an ultrasound this morning. I'll be calling soon to see how she is and if they know what's wrong yet. I hate leaving while she's in the hospital but I can't miss this appointment.
Update: Called the hospital and found out she should be released around noon so she'll be home before I have to go. Nothing seriously wrong, all the tests came back normal. Doctor thinks it's acid buildup and is trying to find a medicine Mouse isn't allergic to. It'll be a relief to know she's okay and will be home even if this means more medicine for her to take.
