Liverpool
I met two girls from Liverpool yesterday as we arrived at Como. We hung out together for the rest of the day, even had Andre join us for dinner.
It felt really nice going around with people, talkign to them, sharing stories, 'n stuff. We went up this REALLY steep trolley to a little town called Brunate. there was NOTHING up there, just a few houses 'n stuff. VERY dead. BUT you could see the alps from there and they were SO beautiful. So we found this little table, just sat there in the sun, looking at the mts. and talking. That was fun.
We had PLANNED ON walking down so we bought a one way ticket, but we coudln't find the way DOwN, so we just had to take the trolley back, but there was no one there to sell us a ticket! So we had to hop the fence. we WANTED to pay, there was even a Camera, but NO ONE was there to help us, no signs, nothing.
So then, we walked around the little shops in Como, i bought a small red leather wallet for my stuff, watched some ice skaters, saw them getting ready to do a small scene shoot for some movie or something, then sat at the station drinking beer and trying to stay warm.
Back in Milan, we met up w/ andre and went to this bar, where you order ONE drink and then you get a buffet of food. It wsa nice food.
They let dogs into restaurants here! very odd, and I kept nearly stepping on the stupid thing :( buh!
OH well, today the liverpool girls and I went to a "fair"thingy where they were just selling a BUNCH of junk and there were SO MANYH PEOPLE THERE< i was going to be sick! So we looked around a little, then headed back, where we had lunch at....mcdonalds...I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW, but ..well it's just the way things worked out. we tried 4 places...anywho, whatever, it's all an adventure.
They headed back today and Andre and I are goign to a "country"house party, this german couple is holding...i'm taking PB&Js...straight class right! :)
